About

The Waukee Library Friends Foundation supports the Waukee Public Library and the many services, materials, and programs it provides to our community.

The WPLFF exists to support the library in ways where the city budget falls short. Waukee is a fast growing city, which is both exciting and challenging. Much of the revenue brought into the city is needed for roads and infrastructure costs to keep up with the demand for new housing and business growth.

The WPLFF serves as a catalyst for attracting private funds from individuals, businesses, organizations and foundations to enhance library services for the community. The main purpose of the WPLFF is to raise and distribute funds to the library.

The Waukee Public Library Friends Foundation focuses on:

  1. Support for the Library
  2. Fundraise for the Library
  3. Advocate for the Library
